Per The Pokémon Company International, refunds are now available, less a processing fee, for registered TCG, VGC, and GO competitors who are no longer planning to attend the 2025 North America International Championships in New Orleans.
- For refunds submitted through 11:59 pm CDT on Wednesday, May 21, a 20% processing fee will be applied and deducted from the amount refunded.
- For refunds submitted May 22 through 11:59 pm CDT on Wednesday, June 4, a 40% processing fee will be applied and deducted from the amount refunded.
- Beginning 12:00 am GMT on Thursday, June 5, refunds will no longer be available.
Note: Competitor registrations are non-transferable and refunds processed do not suggest or guarantee additional space will be available for any tournament. IF there is opportunity to reopen registration, an announcement will be shared via RK9's social media in advance.
To initiate a refund, follow these steps.
- Navigate to your Player Dashboard and click on the tournament you would like to initiate a refund for.
- This will take you to the Player Tournament Dashboard; click Request refund.
- Within your online confirmation, click Cancel registration and initiate refund to begin the process.
- Carefully review the refund policy. If you would like to continue, enter your Player ID and click Continue.
- Carefully review all information shown next. Enter a reason to attached to the refund – DO NOT include any sensitive information.
- You must check the acknowledgement to agree that you have read and understand the refund policy and the terms shown above.
- To cancel your registration and process a refund, click Process refund. Your registration will be canceled immediately, and the refund process started. Once submitted, it cannot be canceled or reversed.
- Note that refunds will take 5-10 business days to appear on the charging card's account statement.
- If you have questions about a refund, please allow at least 10 business days to pass after initiating the refund to file a ticket.
